Chocolate, Cranberry and Almond Bread
Ingredients
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/3 cup of canola oil
- 1 and 2/3 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar or less
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup of chocolate chips, semi-sweet
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup of dried cranberry
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup of almond slices (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 of cinamon
Steps for bread machine
Add all wet ingredients into the bread pan, and then add the dried ingredients. Select Express Bread Cycle for 80 minutes. Cool the bread on a rack for 10 minutes
Steps for oven
Pour wet ingredients into a metal mixing bowl, and then pour the dried ingredients into the bowl. Mix with a hand-mixer. Pour the mixture into a non-stick bread pan. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake the bread for 30 to 40 minutes, At this point a knife inserted into the middle of the loaf should come out clean. Cool the bread on a rack for 10 minutes
